Schools, hospitals, airports, and other municipal and community organizations and projects have successfully fashioned strong, durable steel walkway covers from our standard metal carport. Pre-cut frame components and faster assembly with Slip-Fit connections make the VersaTube walkway cover a flexible solution that can adapt to any coverage need. From a permanent sidewalk cover with color coordinating roof panels to a temporary construction or work site corridor protecting pedestrians, VersaTube is a smart choice for many contractors. Engineering certified covers are available in standard sizes or can be customized to each specific application.

Walkway Covers Truss Bracing
Interior truss bracing may be required by engineering depending on the cover dimensions and your local snow and wind load requirements. Typically, 10’, 12’, 14’ and some 18’ and 20’ models do not require truss bracing. Some 18’ and 20’ and all 24’ and wider units are sold with truss bracing. Truss braces are used on all interior truss frame sections and ARE NOT REQUIRED for the front and back end truss sections.
