The Grand X4 Series Carports use 2” x 4” steel tube framing for shelter applications requiring widths over 30’ wide and up to 16’ sidewall heights. As with the Grand Carport Series, the Grand X4 features vertical application of sheet metal roof panels over required roof purlins.

Primary framing uses 2” x 4” rectangular steel tubing for structures engineered from 30’ wide up to 52’ wide and 16’ high (sidewall). 2” x 3” steel tubing is used for Grand carports engineered up to 30’ wide and 12’ high (sidewall).
Install on ground, concrete slab or footings or piers, or any level surface per anchoring instructions. Your choice of concrete or ground stake anchors.
Standard carport package includes frame system with self-drilling screws, 29-gauge sheet metal & trim package with screws, butyl caulk tape, vinyl trim, and your choice of anchors.
Truss Bracing for Grand X4 Carports
Interior web truss bracing (Type 3) is required by engineering for all Grand X4 carports and shelters using 2” x 4” steel tube framing. Truss braces are used on all interior truss frame sections and ARE NOT REQUIRED for the front and back trusses of carports.
