VersaTube structures, when sold and supplied by an authorized VersaTube Building Systems Dealer ,are generally erected within a month. Delivery dates are determined by the dealer, based on current work load and customer requirements. |

4. What gauge/thickness of steel is utilized for the framing components?
VersaTube is proud to offer steel tubing made in the U.S.A. with gauges that range from 15 to 12 gauge depending size and configuration. Should you have an unusual load requirement, your dealer will be able to properly configure the design of your garage to meet these needs. |

5. Can I have my garage custom sized?
Yes. Our VersaTube Building System allows for any size garage or RV garage to be built up to 52' wide, 16' sidewall and unlimited length. |

6. How many colors does VersaTube offer for garages?
VersaTube offers sheet metal in nine standard colors and we will gladly search for colors outside our color chart. |

Want to save some money? VersaTube offers premier do-it-yourself garage kits. Most VersaTube dealers offer kits and they are also available at most Home Centers such as Lowe's, Home Depot, Menards, and Sutherlands. We have a detailed step-by-step assembly manual to help you every step of the way. Our Slip Fit connections allow us to produce a garage kit that is easy to get home and easier to assemble. 8. Do I have to pay sales tax for my RV garage or car garage?
VersaTube follows state and federal laws on sales tax. We do not charge taxes to the federal government, state government or any organization on products for resale with a valid Tax Exemption Number. |

9. Does VersaTube crush bend or mandrel bend garage posts?
VersaTube uses a proprietary method when mandrel-bending side posts. VersaTube mandrel bends maintain the integrity and strength of the steel garage framing. Some models offered utilize single point compression bending. |

10. Why square and rectangular tubing?
VersaTube utilizes shaped tubing for 2 reasons. One, garages built with square or rectangular tubing are significantly stronger that those using round tubing. The flat surface on shaped tubing provides for easier assembly when applying screws and sheet metal panels. |

11. How does VersaTube deliver garages to residential customers?
VersaTube prefabricated garage kits are conveniently packaged and shipped on 40" x 120" pallets. Even the largest steel canopies can be delivered by any major shipping company using a standard pallet jack and lift gate. |

VersaTube garages are backed by The VersaTube Product Pledge and limited 20-year frame warranty.
Our competitors only offer a warranty on upgraded garages with heavier framing and cost considerably more.

Garages can be built on a number of flat surfaces following the anchoring procedures provided in the installation manual. |

16. Can VersaTube garages be built and then completely enclosed with additional materials at a later date?
The VersaTube Building System is designed for this exact purpose. Additional sections can be added and your garage can even be enclosed at a later date without issue. |

The garage industry generally refers to an 18-foot garage as a doublewide. VersaTube offers doublewide units in both an 18' and 20' wide configuration. Additionally, our
Suburban Series garage line is a full foot wider than the industry standard singlewide (12' wide) and doublewide (18' wide) garages. For two large vehicles, we recommend a
24' x 24' garage. For two small vehicles, a 20' x 20' garage may do the job. |

Generally our standard steel garage does not require truss braces in widths narrower then 20' wide unless you have higher snow and wind load requirements. Most steel
garages 20' wide, and wider require truss braces to meet local wind and snow load requirements. |

26. What is the roof pitch of VersaTube steel garages?
VersaTube offer garages in a 3:12 roof pitch. |

27. What is the on center spacing of the frame trusses?
Snow and wind load conditions dictate the required on center spacing of a garage:
VersaTube 12' to 20' wide garages are 5' on center.
VersaTube 24' to 30' wide garages are 4' or 5" on center
VersaTube Contractors Series 2"x4" framing allows for garages wider than 30'. |

28. Does VersaTube offer a garage with roof eaves?
Yes. Our garages and RV garages come in many different styles. The Summit Series garage and the Frontier Series garage have the A-Frame style look. |

29. How long does it take to assemble a VersaTube garage?
Standard metal garages range from 8' wide to 30' wide and take 4 - 12 hours to assemble. Adding sidewalls, a front or back to your garage adds to the assembly time. |

31. How close can a garage be to another structure, building or fence?
It is important to leave enough room to work around the perimeter of the metal garage for assembly purposes. We also recommend checking your local building codes. |

The sheet metal panels VersaTube offers are 3' wide and extra rows can be ordered to provide extra coverage down the side of the metal garage. |

33. How are VersaTube garages anchored to a concrete slab?
VersaTube garages use common 7" concrete anchor bolts that are installed using a hammer drill. |

34. How is my metal garage anchored to asphalt or dirt?
It is extremely important to carefully and firmly anchor VersaTube garages. For exact instructions, refer to our garage assembly manual. To properly anchor in asphalt or dirt,
postholes must be created with our rebar anchors set in concrete. |

35. Can a VersaTube metal garage be anchored to a wood deck?
We recommend using lag bolts through the pre-punched holes in the steel garage base rails then screwed down into the wood surface for a secure hold. |

Framing for one single gable end garage door opening is included in the standard garage package. Other gable end modifications are available if requested and approved in advance by VersaTube. For a 12’ or 20’ wide garage, order one VH-D5 for each additional side door frame your customer is requesting. For a 24’ or 30’ wide garage, the side door frame model number changes to VH-D4.
