Pinnacle Series DIY carport frame kit includes roof purlins for applying sheet metal panels vertically (sold separately) in a traditional or common gable style manner.
The Pinnacle design utilizes a vertical sheet metal roof application allowing for greater snow, rain, and debris run-off which is ideal for higher snow load areas. Adding a side kit run ensures structural performance in more extreme snow or high wind areas, as well, additional protection from elements entering from the sides. With the VersaTube Slip-Fit frame system, you can get your carport frame kit assembled in a single afternoon using common tools.

"Versa Tube, We are very happy with the Versa Tube cover that we purchased to help shade and protect our travel trailer. This is the Pinnacle Series 14'W X 30'L X 12' H unit. The only complaint that we have is that we were missing a couple of pieces of the foam rib outside closure strips and one of the side panels was quite scratched up from the fork lifts moving them (should have been a piece of cardboard or something else put below it to prevent this from happening). Versa Tube's policies for getting the missing pieces replaced is so difficult that I just went out and purchased some foam A/C strips and used these in place of the missing pieces. The quality of this cover is very good and if I needed another one I would purchase from them again.
"Here are some pics showing just how versatile the Pinnacle carport has been for me at my cabin near Lake Wenatchee, Washington. My son in law and I put it up with no problems other than digging footings in very rocky soil! It is serving very well as a carport during spring/summer/fall and a great boat storage during winter! FAQs
What is the warranty for your structures?
20-year limited frame warranty against any structural defects. We’ll replace or repair any component part that does not perform to customer expectations. 20-year limited paint finish warranty provided by most sheet metal suppliers. The completed frame structure with sheet metal and trim must be erected within thirty (30) days of the date of delivery to retain warranty eligibility.
Does the price include shipping?
All Standard and Design Your Own VersaTube building kits include shipping to your residence or place of business. Premium Delivery may be available for an additional fee if you need the shipment(s) off-loaded for you. Please note that the frame and the sheet metal are shipped separately. All VersaTube parts and accessories are shipped via ground or LTL carrier, the freight is calculated at checkout and paid for by the customer. Please see our Shipping Policy page for more details.
How are your structures anchored to the ground or concrete?
Ground anchoring requires VersaTube rebar anchors centered in post holes and backfilled with concrete. Anchoring to a concrete slab or concrete footing requires concrete wedge anchor bolts. Anchors are provided with each building and carport kit. You will make your selection prior to checkout.
How long does it take to assembly a building kit?
With the assistance of friends and family members, most carport units can be assembled in one day – two days at the most (for larger carports). For smaller buildings and garages, once your site preparation is completed, you should be able to install the frame in one day and the sheet metal the next day. Larger buildings and garages may require more days depending on the available help you have, cooperating weather, and your own personal schedule.
Do you offer additional truss bracing or sheet metal gauges?
Additional interior truss bracing and 26 gauge sheet metal are available options if you are building in a higher snow load and/or wind load area and local code requirements must be achieved. Call a VersaTube Product Specialist 1-800-810-2993 with your load requirements and questions.

Can VersaTube structures be modified at a later date?
Can VersaTube structures be modified at a later date? Our Slip-Fit frame connection design will allow you to easily add additional length to your existing structure by adding base rails and truss sections. Once your building or carport is assembled with sheet metal roof and siding panels installed, it may be a bit of a challenge to modify the width and the height of your unit.
