Find a VersaTube Contractor

Meet Mike

Let me make something clear right up front – I’m not a DIYer. I know it’s a trend that’s been taking the country by storm – my wife reminds me of that fact on an almost daily basis and my neighbors who are constantly outside doing their own home improvements certainly aren’t doing me any favors. They tell me that there’s nothing like the sense of pride that comes from working on your own house and property, but I’ll have take their word for it as I have neither the time nor the inclination to tackle a home improvement project every weekend. My life is busy with other interests.

However, as much as I tried to ignore it, I couldn’t help but notice when my neighbor began building a garage in his back yard. It was a steel building kit from VersaTube and as it went up, I’ll have to admit that I was a bit envious. The building seemed to go together with no problem at all and when completed, it had a clean attractive appearance. Of course, my neighbor invited me over to show his garage off when it was done and took the opportunity to give me another spiel on the virtues of being a DIYer.

It was going in one ear and out the other until he started talking about VersaTube and how their attention to detail, use of high quality components, and outstanding customer service have made them a leader in the metal building industry. He also mentioned that they have over 2,500 dealers and it’s possible to purchase one of their buildings and get erected on your property by one of the dealer’s crews. While that definitely got me thinking, the selling point was when he said the company designs their buildings based on each purchaser’s needs – whether you just want an inexpensive carport with a roof or an intricate structure for your home woodworking shop, they can make it happen.

Well, as they say the rest is history – I’m looking out the window at my new three sided carport that protects my daughter’s car. I bought the building from my closest dealer and they sent a crew out that had the building up in a matter of days and even better – I’m just as proud of it as if I’d built it with my own two hands.

So if being a DIYer just isn’t your thing but you could use a garage, workshop, or even a barn, consider visiting a VersaTube dealer. I also discovered that you can buy a building directly from the VersaTube factory and they have a network of vetted crews who can do your installation.
