What Color VersaTube Garage Will Look Best?

by Abby Mwesigwa on October 18, 2018

We offer a variety of colors to please every taste, from bold red to sophisticated charcoal gray and even standout green. When it comes down to it, choosing the color combination for your VersaTube Garage is just a matter of preference, but we have a couple thoughts for you to consider as you make the choice.

What’s your garage’s purpose?

How you are going to use your VersaTube structure may influence your color choices. For instance, if your garage is mainly for parking your vehicles, you may want to pick a color combination that blends in with your home. If you’re building a workshop or commercial building, a bolder color choice may be preferred. If you will use your garage as a business on your home property, picking colors that are quite different from your living quarters can help customers and clients easily recognize your professional entrance.

Location

When it comes to picking the colors for you garage, your chosen location may be something you want to consider. If your structure will be in close proximity to your home, complementary colors are probably going to be a must. A green and white garage may be your favorite pick, but if your home’s exterior is a cool gray or tan, will you still love the color combination once it’s all assembled? Now, if the garage is going to be set away from the house, most people feel they can exercise more freedom with their color choice as there’s less chance of the two structures “clashing.”

Personal style

When it comes down to it, the colors you choose are all about your personal style. Green or red are great for a bolder, fun look or a classic barn-style shop. Charcoal and stone are both modern but neutral colors that are great for a calm, relaxed feel. Brown, tan, and white are timeless neutrals. Check out our color chart for a better idea of how each of those colors look.

We know picking the color can be a big decision. Whatever color choice you make, it’s sure to look great! For some more color inspiration and to see what other customers chose, check out the “customer photos” tab on any of our garage model pages.
