Corralling the Conundrum
Look at them out there… Scattered about. Some on their own, some grouped together, one up against a tree, one up against a car. HEY - THAT’S MY CAR!
This is getting out of hand now. Debuting the small shopping carts at our boutique grocery store and deli has thus far been a disaster. Whatever happened to old fashioned respect and courtesy? Whatever happened to the sense of community? It use to be “Hi Bob!” and “Hello, Mrs. Stewart!”
Now it’s just a crowd. A crowd of folks rushing in, grabbing their stuff, making a mess, and rushing out. They cannot be bothered to pick up that can of beans they dropped. Those folks that won’t push them back to the front of the store will park them under the cart corrals. Then, instead of gathering them from all over the lot, and all over my car, we’ll just leave them in the cart corrals for the next customer’s convenience.
If only the whole interpersonal communication thing was this easy to fix…
