Garage Upgrades!

Metal Garages

Garage Upgrades!

by Matthew Sullivan on April 09, 2018

The best part about a new garage is what’s inside!

Certainly, having the peace of mind knowing that your garage is a solid structure is the best starting point.

VersaTube gives you that peace of mind.

It begins with our easy to use, interactive website where you can easily design your own building, arrange financing, and process your order.

It continues with your fast kit delivery, easy Slip-Fit building assembly, and the registration of your 20 year frame warranty.

But let’s get back to the fun part…

So you’ve just completed the assembly of your new VersaTube garage. Now, what will you put inside…?

Well, any craftsperson could use compressed air in their workspace. Whether your blowing off surfboard blanks, blowing off sawdust, or running die grinders and air wrenches, an air compressor is a must. You could roll a small, standard air compressor in there - that might suit your needs - OR, you could splurge a little and install a quieter, rotary screw type compressor - no one likes listening to loud air compressors kick on. They kill the workflow and creativity vibes, particularly in smaller shops.

Once your compressor is in, you could plumb air lines throughout your shop so that you don’t have to deal with long hoses. Now your compressed air set up is at the pro level…

Are you a car or motorcycle mechanic? We’ll bet you could use a nice lift! Motorcycle lift, 4 post car lift, whatever the case, consider coating your cement floor with an epoxy so that you can clean up easily.

Tools, workbenches, cabinets, parts washer, lathe, welding equipment - well, these are no brainer additions to the mechanic’s ultimate garage, but none of these things will be of any use to you without proper lighting! Know a good electrician? Get em’ over there and have them install plenty of lights and plenty of outlets.

All you need now is your first project. What’s it gonna be? Let us know in the comments below!
