What comes in a VersaTube Kit?

by Stacy Fender on September 21, 2018

There are all kinds of kits out there. Want to put together a kit for baking cupcakes? You’d probably include cake mix and frosting, a bowl, mixer, spatula, baking pan and cupcake liners - everything you’d need to create a tasty treat.

Or maybe a car-washing kit is more up your alley? You’d need a bucket and sponge, a hose, soap, a brush for the tires, and a chamois to dry the car when you’re done.

These are both pretty simple kits, really. But what if you wanted to put together a kit for a building? Something that would give people everything they’d need to assemble a carport, or loafing shed, or even a horse barn - from a DIY kit? What would that look like?

Well, for starters, it would take a lot of boxes.

Every VersaTube pre-engineered steel building kit includes absolutely everything you need to build your building - whether you’ve selected one of our standard kits or chosen to Design Your Own. Most kits arrive securely packaged on one or more pallets, shipped directly to your building site.

When your kit arrives, you’ll want to be sure to look for the universal instruction manual. You’ll use this in conjunction with the care package instructions emailed to you a few days before your shipment arrives to carefully inventory your parts. (You can also find general assembly instructions online, and watch our product assembly videos to understand what comes in your kit, and how your building goes together.)

Once you’ve checked that you have everything you need, you’re ready to start constructing your building. Depending on the size and complexity of your build, whether you’re building it on your own, with the help of some friends, or you’ve hired a professional contractor - your building could be completed in just a couple of days!
