Add a Tack Room

Another way you can modify your barn design is by extending the length to include a tack room. When you finish the space you can add storage shelves, hooks, a sink, washer and dryer, an office desk, and more!

Use Extra Stalls

Instead of modifying your barn design, you could pick one of our standard barn models, but get a larger one than you need for your livestock. Maybe you were planning to get the 60’ Highlander Horse Barn, which is designed to have 10 stalls. Instead, you could go for the 72’ version and use the extra two stalls for tack and other storage.

Add a Lean-To

The addition of a lean-to is an economical, way to add storage to your barn. Pick one of our Lean-To frames and finish it to precisely fit your storage needs. That could mean you turn it into a tack room, use it for parking ATV's and storing equipment, or turn it into a drive bay. Add a Loft

One option that might work is to add a loft when you’re finishing the interior. Historically, lofts were just used for hay and grain, but you could also use your barn loft for tucking away seldom used tack and supplies.
